Trouble.... that's not something that is appealing. It's not something positive, or a tool used to attract people.

We are all here to 'get' something. We are all interested in value.

I once read in a book about Zen, something like, 'our true nature is to be on an endless quest, we are constantly looking for 'something'....and we make that something to be a car, a relationship, a course... whatever.... but in truth, that 'something' is closer to in fact being 'nothing' than it is to being 'something' at all.....'. But we go on.... searching for 'something'.... it is in our nature.

I guess most people are aware in the modern age, that companies, advertisers, individuals, will use a ploy to first appear to 'give' you something, before they ever mention 'wanting' something for what they just gave you? 'Free' is the oldest trick in the book..... and it still works. The 'hook'.....

If you've read this far, then - to some degree I have you 'hooked'. Maybe you feel that I have 'given' you something, so no doubt you are looking for some form of 'payback' pretty soon... 'so what does this guy want?' I hear you ask....

We probably have very similar wants and needs.... I'm not here to $ell a product though.

I came to this site this morning, because I saw a numerology post from Token Rock, on facebook.... and I followed the hook!...

Maybe finding out my number will unlock some secret answer to my life's conundrums I thought.... 'Why don't I have a 2 bedroom unit overlooking Queenscliff beach?... Why don't I drive a Land Rover?... Why am I not happily married? ..... What went wrong?'

I'm a #9.... but the description of me, couldn't be further from the truth.

So, all I'm left with is.... 'Trouble'.... and that doesn't usually 'sell'.

Although, it's also true that hearing about or watching others in trouble makes us feel grateful it's 'not me'. The news is full of hideous stories, and just like a car smash that you can't look away from, the 'Annual General Meeting' of a firm where they must announce falling profits and 'doom & gloom' EVERYONE will turn up for, everyone wants to know, 'what happened?'.... but if that same general meeting were to announce massive profits.... no one would be there.
